T-Minus 6 Days....

We got the green light from our pediatrician to sleep train Asher with the Ferber method.  She also said she thinks he is actually sleeping pretty well for his age, which is probably true, as we all know his mom is an over-analytical crazy pants.  So the plan is to start Monday.   I have a feeling I will immediately wish we were waiting to start on Friday so that Ben could help with the brunt of it over the weekend; but once you've made up your mind you just want to get the ball rolling as soon as possible.

It will be a lot of change for poor Roo, we are going to move his crib into his nursery and he will start being put down awake instead of asleep for naps and bedtime.  I tried to convince Ben we didn't reaaalllly need to sleep train now because Asher has started making gradual improvements over the last week, but I think that is typical "Run for your life!" behavior leading up to sleep training... so the plan stays.

Soak it up baby, your days of sleeping on me are numbered.

Asher's new favorite place is the doctors office.  He destroys the paper on the exam tables, squealing with delight while he stomps around on his crinkly stage.

Our teething boy prefers gnawing on peoples bones more than anything else... it's like our arms, hands, collar bones, and fingers are his personal chew toys.

Stands up all by himself in his saucer (...just needs a boost with the books underneath and a little bit of core support around his waist ;)
