First Tee Ball Game

Tee Ball got 'rained out' tonight, so we moved practice and the first game inside to the gym.  It was actually like herding kittens.  Tiny little kittens who have the attention span of a cricket and who want to all tackle the ball at the same time.  But boy is it fun watching preschoolers try to play baseball :)  Oh and Sully isn't officially signed up, he just steals the balls and the bats and pretends like he is a big kid.

Olson Art Project

Karen & Jim wanted their grand kids to make a painting for their entryway.
Everyone, even Baby Everett, contributed.  Tiny babies 'painting' might be my favorite thing...

The Little Kids...

(No strangers to painting giant canvases...)

The Big Kids...

Like this and like that.

Warming up for the 4th of July!

Belated Father's Day Fun

Father's Day Fun.

Matching tattoos... well kind of matching, Ash got a bad ass eagle.
Grandpa Jim got an icecream cone :)

Celebrating birthday and father's day - Twins style :)

Post-game/cotton candy crash.

Father's day celebration with the Olsons.
My children are charming.

Gustie Wedding

It has been a while since we went to a wedding, and we had a lot of fun reconnecting with Ben's Gustavus crew last night.

Back in Minnesota

These mangy mutts...

Very serious gardening.

Learning from Master Gardener Jo.

Leaving the urban farm store...

Woodworking with Dad.

What happened while I was in Florida...

Sully super hero'd his way through breakfasts...

Ash started tee ball!

The rest of the week in Florida.

MCH Epi training was a success.  Largely because I saw dolphins.  Lots of dolphins.  Slightly less largely because I found the biggest picture of donkey ears I've ever seen in my life.   And then there was the MCH epidemiology training, which was also pretty good.

Found a good group of girls on day 1, stuck with them (and picked up a few others) for the rest of training.  Met lovely people from the CDC, HRSA, Denver, New Orleans, Samoa, Sacramento, Iowa, Ohio, and Illinois.

The cutest little couple I've ever seen... at least 90 years old.

Sunset #2 of the trip.

The clouds the night of the pirate cruise... it looked ominous... but it was a beautiful 2 hour tour :)

So much pirating...

All the cool kids were doing it... literally... all the cool 7 and 8 year olds on the ship were getting pirate face paint.

Last morning in Clearwater.  I woke up, realized the sun was rising, opened the door to my balcony and pulled back the curtains, and took this picture from bed before I fell back asleep to the sound of sea gulls and ocean...

Last walk on the beach.  SO many dolphins were playing near the pier.  Amazing.
