End of January Fun

Almost five years has passed since Ben and I have rock climbed.  Jim and Karen took the boys for the day on Sunday (yay!) and we were able to hit the wall.  It was an amazing day from start to finish actually.  The morning started with a breakfast burrito, then yoga & a pint at Lake Monster, Ben picked me up and we went straight to Vertical Endeavors, grabbed a beer and chicken wings post-climb, and then our little monsters came home.  Really.  A pretty awesome day.

Meanwhile, Jim also got a workout in :)

Last night Harlan slept on Asher's bed, I caught him in there at 2 a.m. when I was checking on Sully.  These two really have quite the friendship.

Celebrating the Tiniest Olson

Today we celebrated my beautiful sister Allie and the tiniest little Olson that will join us in February.

Such an amazing mom already... I cannot wait for my nephew to arrive :)

Harlan was a pest.  And so happy that Allie's friends are dog lovers.

Grandma hanging out with her boys.

Baby shower drinking contest.  Kaeleigh was a champ.

Hanging out with Auntie Tractor.

Hand in Hand is the Greatest

I am so thankful for the amazing center that takes care of my children during the day.

My little penguin watching the other little penguins.

Beach Day!

We got our first "Sully Dress Up" picture from Hand in Hand.
It was VERY different than the first "Asher Dress Up" picture that we got.

What do you march for?

Today I joined in the Women's March in Saint Paul.  It was amazing.  I don't really have more words than that right now.  But I have a lot of pictures.

We met at our house before heading over... Sully fell asleep in Uncle Aaron's arms, just about the sweetest way to start a big day.

Can you spot the Olson boy?

This darling.

After the march, my hat was immediately turned over to my favorite feminist.
This little Picasso grabbed the water and brush off the table, moved it to the floor, and started painting the chair (all in the two minutes that I was in the kitchen getting Asher a snack).  I was so proud of him for expressing his creativity that I didn't stop him, instead I watched, applauded, took pictures, then finally moved paper to the floor so he could paint something other than our furniture.

Reading Asher the Lorax, in his hat, really hammered home the importance of marching today.
This little guy has my whole heart.

Asher Art

Asher is an art kid.  Which makes my heart explode.

Asher's House

"Asher & Dad"

Smart boy.

I have a few thoughts here as I psychoanalyze this picture... the first is, why does mommy have such a big frowny face?  The second is, who is the fifth unnamed member of our family?

The laziest holiday ever.
