Easily on the "Top 5 Favorite Days with Asher" List

Some days having a 2 year old is exhausting.  And challenging.  And just plain hard.  

But there are also days that are just perfect.  Start to finish.  Top to bottom.  Perfect.

Cuddling and eating breakfast while reading books...

....and then to our favorite place, the Botanical Garden.

Stopping to smell the flowers on our way to the farm.

Suddenly terrified of the chickens.  

I don't like him being scared, but I love being one of two people 

in the world who always makes him feel safe.

Heart...Cant...Take It....

Asher had a hard time falling asleep last night so we let him hang out with us way past his bedtime.  And why wouldnt we? He spent about an hour rewatching the 11 second video of him "heying" to Taylor Swift....and dancing.  We also got to experience some adorable out-of-order counting to ten.

....definitely has daddy's dance moves...

The newest thing in our house- doing everything head first.  Down slides, down stairs, off couches... 

Super awesome.  This can only end well.

He's a Swifty

As much as I want him to be a Macklemore kid... there is no question where Asher's current music interests lie.  He knows the entire Taylor Swift CD and sings along.

Weekend Fun

The Corrales Market is open again!  We have been waiting all winter for this: live music, breakfast burritos, green chile jam, fresh baked bread, farm eggs, fresh cut flowers and on and on.  Ahh it makes me so happy.

Asher got a cinnamon roll and clung to it our whole time there.

I love eggs.

Asher has developed a slight obsession with towels. 

Whether it is laying them out perfectly flat on the bed while folding laundry, hanging them up to 'dry' (not wet), or making a towel stack... he loves his towels.

Pebbles on towels so that the wind doesn't blow them away...smart boy.

'Should I be worried about these weird towel happenings?  ...nah'
