Happy Birthday, Ben!

We had a delicious and hilarious celebration of Ben turning 38 this weekend.

Happy Birthday to the best person I know. May your 38th year be filled with more bleachers, woodworking and laughter. You are very loved 💛

Ben's birthday dinner: fried chicken, collard greens, black eyed peas, gruyere and chive biscuits, cornbread muffins, and a caramel fudge chocolate cake. Oh. And wine. Lots and lots of wine.

Hey handsome 💓

They say don't meet your hero....

I finally (FINALLY) got to meet this amazing, bad ass, life saving, beyond brilliant human in real life this month. And now she's moving here. Boom! Also ask me how much I wish she had been a doc at MPP when I was there. Women of Minnesota, rest easy. You're about to be in the best of hands.

April morning.

I know he isn't going to always be little. Or always want to snuggle. So I'm grateful for every minute where both those things are true.

Stop. Growing. Up.

I thought kids were supposed to stay kids forever??????

First 2022 Mankato Visit

Quite the haul.

Visiting Grandma Julie & Grandma Hilary!

Of course the only picture I have of the visit is Asher at the airport .... but mom and Hilary scheduled an extra long layover on their way to Saint Louis so we could sneak in a visit at MSP 💟

Ben also had a sleepover.

Meanwhile in Rosemount....

Luckily he didn't skip town when we all came home, so we got some dad time too 💕

First oyster grill of the year.

Homemade poke.

Asher's first oyster.

Also is fair in love and shellfish.

Meanwhile in Minnesota....

The boys enjoyed a cousin sleepover with Grandma Karen while I was gone 💜
