MCH Epi training was a success. Largely because I saw dolphins. Lots of dolphins. Slightly less largely because I found the biggest picture of donkey ears I've ever seen in my life. And then there was the MCH epidemiology training, which was also pretty good.
Found a good group of girls on day 1, stuck with them (and picked up a few others) for the rest of training. Met lovely people from the CDC, HRSA, Denver, New Orleans, Samoa, Sacramento, Iowa, Ohio, and Illinois.
The cutest little couple I've ever seen... at least 90 years old.
Sunset #2 of the trip.
The clouds the night of the pirate cruise... it looked ominous... but it was a beautiful 2 hour tour :)
So much pirating...
All the cool kids were doing it... literally... all the cool 7 and 8 year olds on the ship were getting pirate face paint.
Last morning in Clearwater. I woke up, realized the sun was rising, opened the door to my balcony and pulled back the curtains, and took this picture from bed before I fell back asleep to the sound of sea gulls and ocean...
Last walk on the beach. SO many dolphins were playing near the pier. Amazing.
