Yesterday we hosted Asher's Birthday Party 2.0 (after the blizzard of 2015 struck last weekend and we had to postpone). It was a great party. Our favorite Albuquerquians were there and it was 70 degrees outside, so we romped around in the backyard the whole time.

Okay. Infectious disease epidemiology got the best of me at this party. I was looking at Asher's balloon as he started to untwist it and yelled "Oh my god it looks like EBOLA!" (which no one got and everyone thought I was really weird and I think they were looking for blood... but check out the shadow of Asher's balloon...)
