Over the last three days Asher has started doing a very alarming sharp gasp for air at random times. Ben and I tried to wait it out, but got a little antsy today when it seemed to be happening more throughout the day.
We saw our pediatrician this afternoon and Asher's lungs and oxygen saturation are perfect. It would appear that Asher just likes freaking out his parents....trouble maker.
We also found out that his growth is on track- he is in the 94th percentile for height, 90th percentile for head size, and 60th percentile for weight.
But Dr. Good did tell us that it isn't normal for Asher to still be struggling so much with liquids and solid food, so he is referring him to the feeding clinic at the Children's Hospital. They will do therapy with Ash to help him figure out coordination so that he can eat and swallow safely.
Apparently it is not an okay option for Asher survive off of icecream for the rest of his life :)
