Asheroo

Asher is in a funny stage right now.  He is starting a new cognitive growth spurt which means he is a little out of sorts (e.g. laughs one minute, cries the next, starts crying while laughing).  He went ALL DAY yesterday without sleeping (maybe 2 hours of napping total) and we were so afraid for what that would mean for the night but he slept from 10-6 without making a peep.  Yay!!  He is giving Ben a run for his money right now, I can hear them in the living room, Asher yelling and using his voice to its little max while Ben soothingly talks to him and hands him toys.  We are in for a long few weeks, but it will be worth it to see what he learns during this time.

We had a lovely visit with Grandma Karen this week, and Asher did his first real horsie (zebra) riding!

"Mom what the heck is happening here?"

"I hear you telling me this is fun, but I don't know if I  believe you yet!"  (Note the crazy hair)

 "Holy Horsie!  We are moving!"

 "Okay yeah, I like this!"

This is a new face.  What a goof.

 Grandma love.

 Um. Cute.

Awesome picture from yesterday.  Again.  This is Asher refusing to take a nap even though he is BEYOND exhausted.  We tried everything.  Rocking.  Walking.  Stroller.  Car ride.  White noise.   Loud noise.  Bouncing.  Absolute silence and stillness.  Nothing made this baby nap.  But when he crashed, he crashed.
