Our kids slept like crap last night. Asher took about four hours to fall asleep and Sullivan woke up about four hours early.
This is what our morning looked like:
I refuse to let me sleep monster children win. We were NOT going to spend the whole day napping and watching cartoons. So as soon as we were done with breakfast we got packed up and drove to the outskirts of Albuquerque for some pumpkin patching.
"Mommy, a horsie, eees cuuuuuuute. I touch it."
Piglets! Eeeee!
There were signs everywhere in this huge corn pit saying "Don't throw the corn!". Really. A mess of little kids in a huge corn pit and you think they aren't going to go nuts. I'm convinced this was created to punish parents who try to keep their kids in line. The smart slacker parents ignoring their kids didn't seem to stress about handfuls of corn kernels flying through the air.... meanwhile a gang of us were pacing around the periphery sternly calling our children's names, counting to three, and warning "One more time and you're outta there!". Why? Why does there always have to be a corn pit?
Awesome water pump races.
This little girl was hogging all the duckies...
...and giving Asher dirty looks. Grrrr.
Hard at work during naptime. :)
