Recap of the last week: Asher got his first black eye, we went to a handful of parks, had daily dance parties, planted a garden, ate cake, hung out with his girlfriend Payson, snuggled Harlan, made new animal friends, and ate freezey pops. Pretty much par for the course for us this summer.

He had so much fun running around on his own until the very loud construction trucks drove by, then he came running back to mom and plopped down in my lap where he waited until the trucks were gone.
