After watching Asher flounder and flop all over in futile attempts to crawl-- we thought those skills might be more applicable in water. Seriously. Had he flailed in the pool with the same gusto he musters up on our living room floor, he would have been lapping the swim team.
There is a huge splashy, fountain tower with lots of water flying everywhere in the middle of the pool. It is awesome. And someday Asher will love it. But he is not so much about getting water in his face... so we mellowed out with our own baby fountain in the shallowest part of the shallow end.
Interested in the big kid fountain...but only from afar.

Totally exhausted after 15 minutes. Still, it was a success :)
How cool is that!!!! Love the meat-eating pics, and the pool is going to be non-stop entertainment...Fun
