It was a gorgeous 65 degrees in Albuquerque today. So while the rest of the country was experiencing the biggest snowstorm of the year, we spent hours in our backyard, transporting rocks from one corner of our yard to another.
But that wasn't all we did today. We also had lunch with one of my favorite Albuquerquians and her kids. It is funny how it takes about two years to put down roots somewhere, and of course, just now that I am starting to feel like I'm finding 'my people', we know a move is probably just around the corner.
We also went to the doctor for Asher. Again. His night time cough is now going two months strong. We saw a great NP who confirmed that we did not need to do the antibiotics and recommended we continue what we've been doing at home. We have the kid who gets back to back to back to back colds and cannot fight them off...a bummer for sure.
So I made a homemade cough syrup that we are going to try tonight.
Raw honey, lemon juice, and coconut oil. We'll let you know how it goes!
