Before all of our hospitalization hullaballoo went down, Ben's dad had planned a visit to Albuquerque. It ended up being perfect timing. Asher ended up being discharged exactly when we needed to pick Jim up, so we left the hospital and drove straight to the airport (an excellent way to celebrate!). It was so helpful for Ben and I to have another set of hands around... we were just a little bit run down after a week of not sleeping and the stress of the last few days :)
Naked Driving Time- He was so, so, so excited to be home.
Walk to the park.
Through the weekend he still didn't have much of an appetite, and we can only give him pureed foods and liquids until his swallow test. The two things he will eat: vanilla pudding and Panera broccoli cheese soup. Little porkchop. Oh, and butter. He figured out how to chew through the foil top of the butters and just sat there sucking it out until we realized what was happening. Like I said, porkchop.
Ash does not like how cold the tile gets, and refuses to crawl on it. It is a lot of fun to watch.
