Some Amazing Things Happened in August.

Per the usual... I'm behind on sharing what's happened in the last two weeks.  I have a legitimate excuse this week, as Sullivan was diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs on Monday and we spent the evening in the ER.  It is a sleep-deprived week to say the least, especially as Asher settles into his own cough/cold/mess.  But the last two weeks of August were full of really amazing things with really amazing people too... so, we'll celebrate the positive :)

...when you're sitting at a huge table with one of your people and you both realize around the same time that you've migrated to a tiny corner so that your knees can touch while you talk and it is easier to hug mid-story... there was a wait at the restaurant, we probably should have invited another group to come sit and use the rest of the table.

The one bonus of sick kids?  Sick kids are snuggly kids.

Grandma & Grandpa visited us for Sully's birthday, and as we always do, we had a great time playing cards, cocktailing, and talking about life.  Oh and Asher learned how to cross-stitch.

Very seriously listening to Grandma Dot.

We were so disappointed that mom wasn't able to come in as planned for the weekend, but she is safe and dry in Houston, and when the airport re-opens we will have our visit :)
