We made a valiant effort to have me go into labor today. Lots of walking and being up and around. Our day started with a trip to the Minnesota Zoo with Auntie Mingo and Uncle Tim and then Dad and Jo came up to visit and we took Asher to Teddy Bear Park in Stillwater (which is amazing). I have been resting, drinking water, eating snacks, and channeling "let's get things moving Sully!" vibes for the rest of the afternoon, but he seems to be pretty content for the time being.
How have I not learned yet that I don't call the shots, the tiny one does?
Look of apprehension? Anticipation? Caution?
Tiny Pengin.
Otters.
Asher's favorite zoo exhibit of all....the fountain.
Teddy Bear Park
(Don't let the grey skies fool you...it was about a bajillion degrees outside...)
Awww, so cute.
Start em' young... rock climbing will be a family activity.
Ben temporarily forgetting his parenting duties to determine if the wall was climbable.
Busted.
Grandma isn't one for observing from afar... time to get right in there!
Chocolate covered pretzels and lollipops at Teddy Bear Park... rough life.
Dad pouring water on Asher's head... he may have gotten a little hot running around.
So serious. Yes. Hands are dirty.
