Oops

Over the weekend, Asher and Josiah were having a ton of fun playing in the big dirt pile at Dad and Jo's.  We were all sitting around watching them, when I looked at Dad and said, "How pissed is Mal going to get if I turn that into a mud puddle?" (we had a bit of a shoe incident in the morning when Josiah stepped in the swamp in his Nike's -- see 'dad drying shoes with a leaf blower' from previous post).  He sort of giggled.  Which felt like a green light.

I get straight tackled by Mallory.  And we both went down hard into the mud.

And it is all fun and games until someone gets mud in their actual eye ball.

Trying to let the mud cake in the sun.  We thought that would make it easier to peel off.  Turns out, it just sticks to all the little hairs on your body and hurts like hell when you try to get it off.

Happy Birthday to Mallory & Dad!

We spent the weekend in Mankato celebrating birthdays.  Mallory is finally out of her 20s (yay!) and Dad is climbing trees and running around like he is in his 20s.  It was a good weekend :)

These two were attached at the hip all weekend.  It is kind of my favorite thing.

My obsession.  Yes, worms killed the tree.  That makes me sad.  But the pattern they left on the wood is amazing.  I want to do something with it.  I'll accept ideas :)
