The COVID baton has been passed.

At the end of June we celebrated the end of an era. The four original members of the Congregate Settings COVID-19 Incident Command team were officially retired. To celebrate we beat the absolute crap out of a COVID pinata. While we for sure took years off our lives with the amount of stress that went into 2+ years of COVID response, we will all look back on the work we did in shelters, jails and prisons and be glad we did it together.

Fixing up the front of the house.... a work in progress

We decided we wanted a front patio and more grass... so we pulled up the horseshoe path, made a new patio, and landscaped the front of the house. On the hottest days of the year so far.

It's like putting a puzzle together. But sharp. And heavy.
